Google Display Ads, also known as Web Ads Banner ads, or banner ads, are the type of ads that we most often encounter when surfing the Internet. These include various types of ads such as photo, gif, html ads that we see most often on internet portals, but also other websites.
Display advertising is important because that’s where people spend more and more of their time, making it an ideal channel to reach a potential target audience.
But what is the real value of advertising on display?

Google Display Ads and Creating Campaigns
Google Display ads and campaigns are created through the Google Ads platform.
There are 4 types of campaigns: Google Search, Google Display, Shopping and Video campaign. In this case, we choose the second option. Google Display, and we continue to monitor the process of creating a campaign.
After choosing the location, language, budget, we come to the next important item: audience targeting

We can display We’re reaching out to the right audience. Targeting options allow us to display a message (advertisement, advertisement) to potential customers in the right place.
Through a variety of options, we can find audiences through keywords, demographics, audience interests, what the audience is actively researching or planning, and more.
Google Display Remarketing Campaigns
In addition to the standard options, Google Ads offers the possibility of remarketing campaigns. Remarketing campaigns are used to show ads to users who have already visited your website, or done some additional action on the site, such as downloading a brochure, filling out a shopping cart, etc.
The first and most important thing in the whole process is to create an “Audience” in the Google Analytics platform that we want to “retarget”.
In the Admin panel, select the Audience Definitions option and in the Audience drop-down menu . On the new page, we add a new Audience by clicking on the ”New Audience” button. Google offers several features, and for the purposes of this blog, we will stick to the option to add users who have visited a particular page of the site.
After selecting the audience, it remains to select the ads for the purposes of the Display campaign.
Google Display Ads
Google Display ads offer several types of different ad formats that can be displayed on the Google Display Network, including:
- Responsive Display Ads• Fully automated ad creation. All you need to do is enter your ad text, images and logo, and Google will optimize your ads on its own
- Uploaded ads, ads that you upload yourselfWe’re looking for more control. They can be of different sizes and formats:

- Image ads (GIF, JPG, or PNG format)
- HTML5 or AMPHTML as a zip file.
We design image ads in programs such as Microsft Powerpoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc., while HTML5 ads are created in Google Web Designer.
Some of the advantages of Google Display ads are the ability for remarketing, they look much more professional compared to a standard Google Search campaign, with a design that is more attractive and interesting to the audience.
