In one of the previous blogs, we wrote about Facebook Business Suite , about what are the basic options as well as the novelties that appeared with the latest update .

Since there is another tool for managing pages on Facebook and Instagram ( Facebook Creator Studio ) and there may be ambiguities in understanding the difference between these two platforms, in this blog you can find out what the difference is between them.

Business Suite vs Creator Studio – the basics

When you manage a page on Facebook and/or Instagram, the publishing and management options seem overwhelming. Since there are regular updates, it is necessary to follow them, be informed and stay in step with them.

If you’ve ever been confused about which tool to use, you’re not alone. In September 2020. Business Suite was launched without prior notice, confusing users, because at that time there was already Creator Studio .

Facebook then notified users with a message via Business Suite , stating that posts and videos were being moved to Creator Studio, stating that “soon those tools will no longer be available here.” However, none of that happened.

Facebook greatly contributed to the confusion with the introduction of the Business Suite , but now everything is much clearer regarding the functioning of both tools.

Facebook Business Suite

Business Suite was introduced in late 2020 to replace the app Page Manager. Cilj je bio da pojednostavi komunikaciju i interakciju sa pratiocima (obaveštenja, poruke, komentari).

Business Suite allows users to:

  • Save time: Post and schedule on Facebook and Instagram at the same time and control posts in one place to connect with followers from both platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date: Get all notifications, messages, comments from Facebook and Instagram in one place so you can stay up-to-date and communicate more easily with all your followers.
  • Follower analytics and results: Reviewing analytics and drawing conclusions about what’s working and what’s not, and building a picture of what followers like best.

You can see an explanation of all the options within the Business Suite in one of our previous blogs.

Facebook Creator Studio

Although originally introduced as a tool for creating and managing video posts (as evidenced by the tool’s logo), Creator Studio has evolved a lot over time and now has many options that overlap with the Business Suite-om. These are the same options related to monitoring notifications, creating and scheduling posts, managing comments and messages, monitoring analytics, etc. You can see an overview of basic tools in this blog.

The main difference between the two platforms is that Creator Studio offers additional customization options and certain creative tools. This includes:

  • Detailed insight into video performance, watch time and video retention.
  • Monetization Tool – Video content creators and publishers can use a number of different monetization tools to earn money on Facebookin. Depending on the audience and the type of content being marketed, certain criteria must be met in order to be able to use the monetization tools.
  • Music collection – an exclusive collection of original tracks and sound effects that you can use on Facebook and Instagram .

If you’re wondering which tool is best for you, there’s no one answer—the truth is, you’ll have to play around with both platforms until you discover which one you prefer.

Once you master the options and learn all the details about Facebook Business Suite and Creator Studio , you will see that they are not as complicated as you might think at first glance.
