Given the continued high popularity and effectiveness of email marketing campaigns, in the following text we will try to single out some of the most important steps in implementing this type of campaign.
Objectives
As with all campaigns on the Internet, it is necessary to determine the goals, what you want to achieve with the email campaign. These can be notifications about current promotions, a monthly, quarterly or annual newsletter informing you of what happened at your place in the past period, an invitation to participate in an event or to do some “action” on your website.
Contact list
In order to send emails, you need to create valid contact lists. This means that it is preferable to collect emails in a legal way (via the newsletter option on the site, where users leave their email and agree to be contacted). You can have one or more contact lists. You can segment contact lists by products, group of products or services you offer, by countries in which you operate, and similar.
Email marketing provider
To send emails to clients and users, you need to choose the appropriate Email Marketing provider. There are a number of providers and the advice is to choose the one that best suits your needs. They differ in price, the options they offer for design, the limit of how many contacts you can insert into the platform, how many emails you can send per day, and the like.
Some of the email providers are SendInBlue , MailChimp , HubSpot .
Design email
The email is designed directly in the platform you have chosen. The offered options differ in terms of design. Somewhere you can freely choose where you want to place which element, somewhere you are very limited with options, and most providers offer a drag&drop option.

Before the actual design, it is necessary to choose an adequate Subject. Header , the first part of the email is one of the most important elements and should attract the attention of the user to whom you are sending the email. You should not overdo it with the design and elements, focus on the goal of your campaign (if the goal is to get the user to sign up for the action, place the button right below the opening sentence and at the end of the email). Follow the ” keep it simple ” method. In the footer of the email, leave your contact information, information about your company.
Most e-mail providers automatically optimize e-mails for the phone as well, however, before sending, be sure to check how your e-mail looks when someone opens it from a phone.
Before you send an email to thousands of addresses, check that everything is in order and exactly as you imagined. Once an email leaves the sending platform, you cannot stop it in time.
