Facebook will soon launch two new ways for businesses to communicate with customers through messages and groups.

A new way to communicate – Receive Instagram DMs in Facebook Messenger

Facebook will allow businesses to receive and respond to users’ messages using the same service.

Instagram Direct Messages (DMs) will be integrated with the Facebook page inbox. Thus, DMs sent via Instagram can also be read and replied to via Facebook.

This will allow businesses to respond faster while not missing messages from users.

Other users who see the countdown can follow it, which will allow them to receive a notification when the countdown ends.

According to Instagram’s internal data, 150 million people interact with a business on Instagram every month.

Facebook’s latest quarterly report found that 10 billion messages are sent between people and businesses every month via FB Messenger.

It is said that this novelty is initially available for companies in the United States and Brazil.

To avoid confusion, this feature will only be available for business pages and not for personal accounts.

Facebook pages can participate in groups.

Facebook pages will soon be able to communicate with users in group discussions. Currently, Pages can create groups, but they can’t publish content to a group like the page itself.

Of course, representatives of the Facebook page can participate in groups with their personal accounts. But it’s not the same as communicating directly with a business page.

This change is expected in the coming weeks.
