Do you think that Facebook advertising takes a lot of time? Do you want to find ways to set up Facebook campaigns faster and more efficiently?

Over the years, we’ve found a lot of ways to save a lot of time.
Setting up Facebook campaigns
Here are eight simple tips that will save you dozens of hours every month.
And trust us, there is always room for improvement and improvement in the placement of Facebook campaigns. Here are some tips on how to improve your strategy:
1. Keep an account of how you name your Facebook campaigns
The first way to save time is to write descriptive campaign names.
The recommended writing format is: Date – Company name – Campaign goal – Offer – Identifier.
This type of writing allows you to quickly see when the campaign was created, what its goal is, and what offer it promotes. You’re probably used to a different date format, but we suggest you start with the year and then continue with the month and day. This way, you can quickly sort your campaigns from newest to oldest by clicking on the column name. Otherwise, you will end up with a combination of campaigns from different years or months, which will certainly not lead to time savings.

2. Use the Saved Audience option
Many advertisers are running Facebook campaigns aimed at the same audience over and over again.
If you are one of them, you can save time with “Saved Audiences”. This feature allows you to save and quickly access your most frequently used target audiences without having to recreate them each time.
To do this, go to Ads Manager, click on the drop-down menu in the upper left corner, and select Audience under Assets.

Click on the Create Audience option and select the Saved Audience.

Determine the exact target audience you want to reach, give it a name, and click Create Audience. And there you have your saved audience!
Now, not only can you access these audiences when you boost your advertising (Boost option), but you can also select them in the ad creation tool by clicking on the small triangle button above the Custom Audience field:

Here are some ideas on how to use your saved audience:
- Target a subset of your followers people who are affiliated with your page and who live in specific countries or have special interests
- Target follower friends who also have the same specific interests
- Target audiences tailored to their email and custom audiences to a specific website and exclude people who have already liked your Facebook page
- Target audiences that haven’t interacted with your company, based on location, interests, or other demographic information.
3. Name Your Saved Audience Wisely
And while we’re still on the topic of audiences, let’s review the audiences you’ve already made.
So, to quickly find the required custom audience that you want to use to set up Facebook campaigns, the correct naming convention will definitely be helpful.
For example, whenever you upload an email list as a custom audience, always start with the letters “CA” (Custom Audience). A custom audience, followed by the name of the email list and the date it was created or updated.
If you’re creating a website remarketing audience, always start with “WCA” (Website Custom Audience). Custom audience on your website, at the beginning of the name, followed by the domain name, page URL , and number of days.

4. Create more varied ads
If you’re serious about testing your Facebook ad campaigns – and you should – then the first step is to set up at least a few ad variations.
The easiest way to do this is to select multiple images in the Ads Create Tool and have Facebook automatically create up to six ad variations for you at once.

Later, it will allow you to see exactly which ad images are getting higher click-through rates and relevance results.
If you don’t have your own images, you can access Shutterstock’s huge library of images and use them for free for your ads – saving you time and money.
Just click on “Free Stock Images“, enter a few keywords to filter the images and choose the ones you like the most.
5. Variation with different ad text
While it’s great that you can create multiple ad variations with different images at once, you may want to test different versions of your ad with different ad text (Copy).
To set this up, open your campaign in Ads Manager and click on one of the ad sets, then check the box next to the ad that you want to copy.

As you can see, a gray bar will appear above the table with the “Create Similar Ad” button. Click on this button and a window will open to create an advertisement.
Click continue to keep these ads in the same ad set and make any changes to your ad text. Update the URL, text, title, call-to-action, and link description, or select another post that has already been published on your site as the source:

Once you’re happy with the ad variations, click Place Order and new ads will be created in a few minutes!
6.Duplication of ad sets (Ad Sets)
Whenever you want to test different target audiences, placements, or bidding type in a controlled way, you’ll need to separate the variables into separate ad sets. In the same way that you duplicate your ad, you can also duplicate your ad sets.
To do this, open the desired campaign, select the set of ads you want to duplicate and click on the “Create Similar Ad Set” option

A new window will open with all the previously loaded information about the campaign.

Click on “Edit” next to the row of the desired ad set to make any changes to your target audience, ad placement, or bidding and optimization. Then, press the “Place Order” option to create a new set of ads. This will automatically duplicate all ads within the ad set.
7.Use the Power Editor for bulk editing (bulk editing)
There is absolutely no way that Power Editor is omitted from this list. Power Editor is probably one of the best tools for saving time. With it, you can quickly duplicate ads, ad sets, and campaigns, or make bulk edits to all of their settings. In seconds, you can update your budgets, campaign start and end dates, add a new target audience, or make bulk changes to ad placements and bid types. Just choose which ad sets or ads you want to edit and update them all at once. This is how you speed up the setup of Facebook campaigns.

And once you’re done, don’t forget to “Review Changes” to upload these updates to your advertising account.
8.Customize columns and save your settings
A great time-saver for setting up Facebook campaigns is the “Customize Columns” feature. which allows you to add or remove columns in your ad reports. To do this, open your ad reports and click on the “Columns: Performance” button. From there, click on “Customize Columns“.

You will see a list with more than 200 columns of statistics that you can add to your report.
And while it can be frustrating to customize the columns every time you want to analyze your results, you can use the “Save as preset” option in the lower left corner. Just enter your username and click on the “Apply” button.

From now on, you will find the saved setting in the drop-down menu “Columns: Performance“.
