Materials that the client is required to provide

In order to implement the Viber promo campaign, the client is obliged to provide the following materials in a timely manner:

  • The client’s official logo in the appropriate format

  • The text of the message, up to a maximum length of 1,000 characters

  • Visual material (image) in JPG, PNG or JPEG format, with a recommended resolution of 600 × 600 px

  • The final URL link that will be used in the promotional message.

The Client guarantees that the submitted materials do not infringe the rights of third parties, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, copyrights and trademark rights.

Terms of use of contact and messaging databases

The Client is fully responsible for the legality of the contact databases used to send Viber promo messages and undertakes to comply with the following conditions:

  • Messages can only be sent to users who have given valid and demonstrable consent to receive promotional messages, who have not withdrawn said consent, as well as users who are of legal age in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • The content of the messages must be directly related to the client’s business and brand and fully comply with the applicable Business Messages Guidelines set forth by Viber.

  • It is strictly forbidden to use the names, logos, trademarks or any other intellectual property of Viber without the prior, express and written consent of Viber on a case-by-case basis.

  • The Client undertakes not to allow third parties to use the verified Viber channel, nor to transfer, rent or use the channel on behalf of other legal or natural persons.

  • The Verified Channel may not be used to promote, mention, advertise, or refer to competing platforms, applications, or messaging services.

Liability and contractual relations

The Client enters into a contract directly with Viber and is solely responsible for complying with all applicable terms of use, policies, platform rules, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

The service provider is not responsible for the content of messages, the legality of databases or for any consequences arising from non-compliance with the aforementioned obligations by the client.
