They could help with next steps or maybe even qualify the work that was done.&#8221;   <\/em>says Mueller.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Mueller emphasized understanding the mechanics of the scoring system as it can help determine the tool&#8217;s relevance to your needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Google example: Chrome Lighthouse<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Mueller mentioned Google&#8217;s Chrome Lighthouse tool as a useful tool that doesn&#8217;t directly affect rankings. With the overall score, you can estimate how well your website performs on those tests. <\/em>&#8220;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Although Google does not use the results of third-party SEO tools to determine search rankings, Mueller acknowledges that these tools are useful. Their results give you an idea of \u200b\u200bhow your site is doing, highlight potential issues to address, and help gauge the success of previous SEO work.
