What are Instagram reels?<\/span><\/h1>\n

Today we’re introducing you to Instagram Reels<\/em> , a new way to create short videos on Instagram<\/em> .<\/span><\/p>\n

Reels<\/em> allows us to make videos that we share with our followers or anyone on Instagram. Initially, the length of the video was limited to 60 seconds, and now every uploaded video on Instagram is viewed as Reels.<\/em> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What is important to note here is the following: When uploading a video of maximum 90 seconds duration, it is possible to upload that video by clicking on the Add Reels<\/em> icon. (there are the following: post, story, reel, live). However, when uploading a video that lasts longer than 90 seconds, it is necessary to select the post<\/strong> icon instead of the reel<\/strong> when uploading and select the desired video. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Why is this important?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If you upload a video that is longer than 90 seconds, and you clicked on the reel<\/strong> section, the video will be cut to 90 seconds. But if you select a post<\/strong> and find the desired video in your phone, it will not be cut and will be uploaded in its entirety. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is possible to add music within Reels<\/em> , adjust the volume of the music you added, as well as the volume of the music in the original video, chop videos, add new ones, insert transition effects between videos, add sound effects, etc. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Instagram is constantly working on improving the user experience, and some new functionalities are constantly appearing within the application, and therefore also within Reels.<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

How to use Instagram Reels?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Instagram Reels<\/em> is a separate section in our Instagram Feed<\/em> , and if your account is public, your videos can also be displayed in a new section in the Instagram Explore<\/em> section. This option offers everyone a chance to reach a new audience on the global stage. <\/span><\/p>\n

Creating Instagram Reels videos<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

You need to select Reels<\/em> at the bottom of the Instagram camera. On the right side of the screen there are various video editing tools like: <\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Audio: You can use songs from the Instagram music library here. In addition, you can use your own original sound. <\/span><\/li>\n
  2. AR Effects: Choose from many effects from the Instagram effects gallery created by Instagram and various creators around the world to capture fun videos.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Timer: This option offers the possibility to set a timer so that you have 3 seconds before the recording starts<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Alignment: With this option, you can align objects and objects from the previous shot to create seamless transitions, for example a moment or shots of changing clothes in different two shots<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Speed: This option allows you to speed up or slow down a portion of the video or audio you have selected.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Setting the layout, changing the grid, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Turning on both cameras – dual option<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Various effects located at the bottom, next to the record button<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Viewing Instagram Reels<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

    Initially, the Instagram Explore<\/em> section featured the best and most viral Instagram Reels<\/em> videos. There is now a dedicated Reels icon at the bottom of the screen when the Instagram app is opened. The videos are displayed in a vertical format, adapted to the phone screen. If you like Reels<\/em> , you can like, comment, share with friends or save it. By saving Reels, Instagram remembers and knows what interests you and will show you those videos that interest you in the future. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1677500264007{padding-top: 30px !important;}”]Also, some Instagram Reels<\/em> have a “Featured” tag. If your ” Reel<\/em> ” has been marked “highlighted”, you will receive a notification. Instagram Reels<\/em> is now available in Serbia as well. This is Instagram<\/em> ‘s answer to Tik Tok<\/em> in an attempt to take over a portion of the market that Tik Tok<\/em> controls. <\/span><\/p>\n
