Part of <em>Google<\/em> &#8216;s algorithm and the way they categorize search results comes from <em>Google<\/em> &#8216;s semantic search technology. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Semantics is a part of linguistics that studies the meaning of words, phrases, sentences and larger units of discourse. So basically, semantics is the study of language and the meaning of the words used in it.
