But there is a stumbling block that is on the way: <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Take the topics of the 10 pillars you chose in step 1 and create a website for each of them that explains the topic at a high level &#8211; using the longer keywords you were given for each cluster in step 2. A pillar page on SEO, for example, can describe SEO in short sections that introduce keyword research, image optimization, SEO strategy, and other subtopics as identified. Think of each pillar page as a table of contents, where you introduce your readers to the subtopics you&#8217;ll elaborate on in your blog posts.  <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Use a list of keywords to determine how many different pillar pages you need to create. Lastly, the number of themes for which you create a pillar page should match how many different products, offerings, and locations your business has. This will make it much easier for your users to find you in search engines, regardless of what keywords they are using.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Every website must include appropriate content for your potential customers and include images and links to pages on your website to improve the user experience. We&#8217;ll talk about those connections in 4. Google doesn&#8217;t take into account exact keyword matches as often as it used to. In fact, too many instances of your keywords can be a warning to search engines that you are &#8220;manipulating keywords&#8221;. This can penalize your website and lower its ranking.   <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Secondly, link to the pillar page you created on this topic. You can do this in the form of tags in your content management system (CMS) or as the body text of the article. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">When you publish each blog post, link it to a pillar page that supports this underlay.
