New Ways to Engage Followers

Instagram has developed a number of new features designed to form stronger connections with followers.

These new features can be used with Instagram’s fastest-growing channels – Stories and Live Videos.

How to advertise on Instagram?

For all of you who have been wondering how to advertise on Instagram, we bring you an interesting text about the novelties, which Instagram has recently introduced in communication with followers.

Countdown in stories

Users can now add interactive countdown stickers to Instagram stories.

Marketers can use this feature to count down to an event, such as a product launch or webinar.

E-commerce retailers can also use countdown stickers in stories to remind followers of a limited offer that is about to expire. Or the one that needs to start.

Once the countdown sticker is made for the first time, it will be available for reuse until the countdown ends.

Here’s one of the ways to advertise on Instagram, successfully.

All users can follow the countdown, which allows them to be notified when it is over.

Questions in Instagramin Live

Question stickers can now be used during live videos, allowing users to receive questions from their followers and have them answered in real-time.

Live videos are already a popular medium for answering followers’ questions.

However, if there are many people asking questions at once, it is easy to lose the “right” question.

Likewise, people who have joined the stream, may not know when the person in the video is talking about what the answer to the question is.

With question stickers in live videos, the person in the video can easily see all the questions, and viewers will be able to see the question that is currently being answered.

These features are available on both iOS and Android. Live video streaming is only available on iOS, but users can also view it on Android.

Insta Story Chat

Update 1. Recently, Instagram has introduced a new feature within the Story. It’s a Story chat. This is the same as creating a group chat in direct messages (DMs). The only difference is that you can directly start chatting with people who view your Insta Stories.

A new sticker on offer, simply called “Chat”, allows anyone watching Story to submit a request and join the chat. The account administrator approves all requests from followers to access the chat.

At first glance, it would seem that this option is only intended for people who use Instagram to share content with real friends. However, we are of the opinion that a way can certainly be found to use it for marketing purposes as well. An interesting story can be a reason for more followers to interact with your account.
