5 Steps to Increase Productivity

5 Steps to Increase Productivity

Why wait for the New Year or some (read fictional) start to set your goals and influence the increase in productivity? Why not think about them non-stop and keep them in mind all the time?

If you haven’t done it yet, the most important thing is to sit down and write down your goals, both long-term and short-term. To determine what your personal and business goals are and gradually from day to day to do things that take you one step closer to achieving them. Remember that you should always have goals, because what will you strive for if you achieve everything?

Determine your goals

You should not only identify your goals, but you need to consider whether they are realistic and achievable. Losing 10 pounds and finally getting the abs you’ve always wanted is a big and achievable goal, but if you want them tomorrow, unfortunately it’s unrealistic and unattainable. That’s why you need to have a realistic time frame for each goal. If you don’t have a clear and concise time frame, you’ll often delay meeting your goals. Come up with a realistic goal, but one that will challenge you. Identify and anticipate any obstacle or challenge you may be facing.

Focus

First, identify any challenges or obstacles that you may encounter on the way to achieving your goals that may affect productivity gains. Discover why she can set you back or stop you. How bad it is for you. Is this challenge big enough? Will you let it stop you? Do you allow yourself to use that challenge as an excuse not to achieve your biggest goals in life? Create a strategy that empowers you and pushes you through all the painful challenges that lead to ultimate satisfaction.

You know that when they say focus? Focus like a laser every day, week and month on things that will bring you closer to your goal. Become a master at focusing on the most important tasks ahead. When you feel distracted and anxious, ask yourself if what you’re doing right now serves something more. Does it pull you towards your goal or push you far away from it? If you realize that it is pushing you backwards from achieving the goal, do not give up because it is just one challenge or obstacle that needs to be jumped over.

Get to know yourself

Get to know yourself and how you work. What excites you about the job you do? In what aspects are you not so excited? What time of day do you do the best job? Early in the morning or late at night? Do you work better before or after training? What environment allows you to succeed? Which environment compromises your work?

Answer all these questions and start on a journey that will increase productivity. Give yourself 90 minutes of extreme focus. Extreme focus means that you shouldn’t be distracted by anything, such as your cell phone, co-workers, colleagues, email, and anything else that can distract you. Dedicate those 90 minutes to your thoughts so that you can more easily see and later complete the challenging tasks that lie ahead.

Constantly improve

Success is often seen as something that brings happiness. However, there is a different view of it. We believe that progress is our greatest driving force. Progress brings us a certain level of happiness and positive madness. To feel this, make yourself some mini goals on the way to achieving bigger ones. Review them often and think about them. This will remind you how far you have come and how many challenges you have faced. Always think about the fact that you are great and that you can win everything only if you want to. Success is great, but progress is the driving force that sustains true happiness.

Create good habits

Find what fulfills you and do it consistently and with three times the strength. Every possible day. Create a morning and night routine that is designed to increase productivity and success. Optimize the time you have before the start of the day and plan how you will end the day. Plan rituals that move you towards your goals, and discard those that hold you back. Do something at night that will spur you on for success the next day. Try to review your entire previous day, what worked well and what didn’t. How can you improve on the little things you’ve done today to have a more productive day tomorrow. Ask yourself about all this every night before bedtime and attack the day the next day with positivity and productivity. Create habits that encourage the growth of positive emotions, action, and overall mental state. An increase in productivity will come as a logical consequence of these positive changes, and thus the achievement of the set goals and improvement of the business.
